Scriptures: Jeremiah 18:1-11, Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18; and Philemon 1-21 Message: God‟s Workmanship for God‟s Work September 12 - Fall “Splash-Off” Day; beginning of our Fall program of worship and education Join us for a special Intergenerational Sunday School experience with Jonah and the Whale (see the Christian Education article in this issue). We will receive a special offering in support of Christian education ministries in our Conference; we will dedicate the work of those who are serving in our Christian Education program, and we will honor a third grader with a new Bible. Today's message will help us consider what wisdom is and who has that wisdom, in the context of our relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This workshop will help us be aware of cultural differences and how we can work effectively through cultural differences, even among people in our own community. For more information and to reserve a place for lunch and the workshop, contact the church office.
